Welcome!

Welcome to the Forgotten Hits Archive Website where you will find many of our most popular features published over the past 25-plus years.

Started in 1999, Forgotten Hits began as an Oldies Music Newsletter where oldies music fans share their musical  memories right alongside those of the deejays who help to keep all of this great music alive and many of the artists who created much of this great music in the first place.

It grew from an emailed newsletter to a dedicated web page where we regularly run special features, interviews and artist profiles along with your comments, memories and suggestions ... with damn-near daily postings!

And, now that you've found us, be sure to check back often ...

In fact, why don't you make us part of your daily routine ...

http://forgottenhits60s.blogspot.com/

Start your day ... EVERY day ... with Forgotten Hits.

Got something you'd like to say or share with our readers?

Just send us an email at kk@forgottenhits.com … and then be sure to check back to the FORGOTTEN HITS website often so that you don't miss ANY of our special features or announcements!

http://forgottenhits60s.blogspot.com/

(With nearly twenty years of damn-near daily postings, you'll ALWAYS find something new to read and enjoy! At the very least, I think you'll see that you've got a WHOLE lot of catching up to do!!!)

Thank you for helping to spread the truth.

Al Kooper

Thanks for the best site on the internet for Music.
All the best,

Forgotten Hits is what Rolling Stone Magazine USED to be ...

Interesting!

Dennis Tufano  (The Buckinghams)

I am loving this!
It is like a romp and I had almost forgotten

some of these great songs!!!
The Hermits will be thrilled, too, by your recognition of their work.

I always read the whole schlemozzle

and I am always happier at the end of the read

than when I began it.
Keep the fab emails coming
-- Peter Noone  (Herman)

You've been so kind in bringing my music, and the music of

other "legacy artists" to your audience.

Although we've never met, I see you as a friend.
What you are doing with FH is beyond music.

In the "old days", when we listened to our local radio station,

beyond the excitement of the music

was the feeling that our friends were listening as well.

The music literally connected us!

Now, in these days of computer isolation,

you've created a similar "community feeling" among your readers.

When we read the comments & play the clips,

we know they're being shared by like-minded fans.

Once again, we are bonded by our love of the music & the artists.

Alan O'Day
